The Sunday School was joyfully re-established in the summer of 2022, serving children up to the age of seven. We began with just one teacher and two children—one from Africa and the other a Hongkonger. By God’s grace, the number of children attending Sunday service has steadily increased as more families move to Reading.
Today, the Lord has blessed us with a growing team of four teachers and six assistants. Each teacher prepares weekly teaching materials, including videos aligned with the curriculum, while the assistants manage craft time and snack time. For children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability), a backup assistant is always available to provide additional support.
Currently, we have ten children registered in our Sunday School, with an average attendance of three to six each week. We thank God for this opportunity to nurture young lives in faith.
Our Objective
Our mission is to nurture children in God’s Word while being mindful of their psychological and spiritual development. Bringing these little ones to Christ is at the heart of what we do, helping them grow in faith and love for the Lord.
The Amazing Lesson
Our goal is to present God’s truth in a vivid, engaging way, ensuring that children enjoy their time in Sunday School and develop a desire to learn more about Him. We believe even the youngest children can experience God’s love and wholeheartedly follow Jesus. After all, Jesus Himself calls us to have childlike faith.
Curriculum Highlights:
- Past Lessons: The life of Jesus and the story of the early Church.
- Current Focus: Stories of the heroes in the Old Testament.
- Future Plans: Teaching about the fruits of the Holy Spirit next year.
We aim to make each lesson memorable and spiritually enriching, leaving a lasting impact on the children.
Our Challenges and Vision
This summer, we celebrated our third anniversary since re-establishing Sunday School. We hope to welcome more children under the age of five. To achieve this, we aim to connect with families through our toddler group, held every Thursday morning at the church. Serving these little ones is a priority for us as we continue to grow this ministry.

Families with young children are encouraged to attend our Sunday service at 10:30 am. After the family worship session, the children will be guided to their classroom by our teachers.
