Supporting the Iranian Community in Farsi
The Abbey Baptist Church Connect Group supports the Iranian community by hosting meetings in Farsi. Using Farsi helps Iranian members feel connected and welcomed in a familiar cultural setting.
Sunday Morning Devotion and Prayer
To begin the week, the group meets at Abbey Baptist Church every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. for devotion and prayer. This gathering gives members a peaceful start and time to pray for each other.
Monday Evening Discipleship Course
Then, on Mondays at 7:30 p.m., members gather for a discipleship course. Here, the group deepens its faith through shared learning and open discussion.
Thursday Evening Meal and Teaching
Finally, every other Thursday at 5:50 p.m., members gather for a meal, teaching, and prayer. This evening includes friendship over food and strengthens faith through teaching and prayer together.
