Home Mission

CIRDIC a drop-in-centre, established in 1990 because a group of local Christians wanted to respond to the needs of the homeless and clearly disadvantaged people in Reading. Originally the aim was to provide a welcoming place in which to offer food and clothing.

REInspired

REinspired works with schools and churches to creatively deliver engaging Christian RE sessions, supporting pupils’ spiritual development and enabling local partnerships, reaching thousands of children across 15 schools annually.

Since 1992 Christian Community Association (CCA) has been providing essential household items for people in need in Reading and surrounding areas. They are an ecumenical Christian organisation based locally working with many denominations and working with people of all faiths and none.

The Mustard Tree partners with local communities, charities and statutory organisations to identify unmet needs among the most vulnerable and marginalised people in the society. Working through those partnerships they then innovate and develop projects that reduce health and social inequalities, increase community engagement, and give a voice to the unheard.

Baptist World Missing

BMS World Mission is a Christian mission organisation, working in over 30 countries on four continents, to help people experience fullness of life in Jesus Christ.

The Bowers Family

Andrew and Nice Bowers, together with our children, Amy, Sam, Lizzie and Joshua, have been called to serve Jesus in Thailand. They serve with YWAM in Chiang Mai. We are also on staff with The Home of Blessing, a girls home founded by Nice’s parents in 1991. The Home of Blessing champions girls from Hill Tribe backgrounds and equips them and their communities for a brighter future.
