The connect group looks out for each member and holds regular gatherings to provide fellowship, care and prayer for each other. Beyond this, more focused groups, e.g. Bible Studies, provide further opportunities for care, growth and prayer.

Besides the gatherings in the church, members enjoy picnics, walks, lunch gatherings in pubs and Chinese-style hotpot gatherings at some members’ houses. Farsi Focused Group
We serve the Iranian community that come to Abbey. It has regular meetings at 9:45am on a Sunday morning for a short devotion and prayer for each other, 7:30pm on Monday evenings for a discipleship course and 5:50pm generally on alternate Thursday evenings. Find out more…

West Reading
In October 2024, we began a Bible study series on Galatians. The study has been deeply enriching and has strengthened the group’s faith. Our final lesson is scheduled for January 5, 2025. Members have found the study both useful and transformative. We will continue to organize gatherings and Bible studies to nurture our relationships and fellowship.
