We prioritise visiting members’ homes and gathering regularly for meals and prayer after Sunday services. In our connect groups, we share Bible verses and God’s teachings, study the Scriptures together, and celebrate birthdays as a community. Welcoming Newcomers and Celebrating Faith Journeys
Some group members have come to believe in Jesus, with one even getting baptised. A few months ago, we visited a newcomer’s family who had recently moved to Reading. They were warm and welcoming, expressing gratitude for our visit. In turn, we appreciated their hospitality as they treated us to homemade cake, snacks, and red wine. During our time together, we shared family stories and prayed, deepening our connection as a community.
